Terms
These Terms govern use of The Goof Bar website and the inquiry process. The Goof Bar is operated by Privacy Ridge LLC. Event services are governed by the proposal and service agreement accepted for that event; if those documents conflict with these website Terms, the signed service agreement controls.
Website use and inquiries
Website information is provided for general planning and may change. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee availability, establish final pricing, or reserve an event date. You agree to provide accurate information and not use the website unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that interferes with its operation.
Quotes, reservations, and payment
Package prices shown on the website are starting rates. Final pricing depends on the event details, staffing, travel, supplies, add-ons, venue requirements, and accepted proposal. A date is reserved only after the required agreement is signed and a 50% retainer is paid. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event. Bookings accepted within 14 days require full payment, and a 10% rush fee may apply to bookings made within seven days.
Travel and gratuity
The first 20 driving miles from ZIP 75203 are included. Additional travel is charged at $1 per round-trip mile, and parking and tolls are separate. Clients may choose a 20% prepaid gratuity or an approved tip jar for guests, as reflected in the proposal or service agreement.
Client-supplied alcohol
The client purchases and provides all alcoholic beverages. The Goof Bar provides bartending services and does not sell alcohol. The client is responsible for confirming that the venue permits the planned alcohol service and for obtaining any permissions assigned to the client under the proposal or service agreement.
Responsible service and safety
Our bartenders may check identification and refuse or stop alcohol service to a minor, a person who appears intoxicated, or anyone whose conduct creates a safety concern. Self-service is not permitted while The Goof Bar controls the bar. Clients and guests must not interfere with service decisions, safety procedures, venue rules, or applicable law.
Event changes, cancellations, and refunds
Rescheduling, cancellation, refund, substitution, weather, venue, force-majeure, and service-change rules are stated in the event's proposal or service agreement. These website Terms do not create a cancellation right or refund entitlement beyond those event-specific documents or rights required by applicable law.
Communications
We may use the contact information you provide to send an automated acknowledgement that we received your website inquiry and to communicate about your inquiry or booking. Submitting the website form does not enroll you in automated marketing or SMS messages. SMS messaging is not currently enabled.
Intellectual property and third-party services
The website's branding, text, graphics, and original materials belong to Privacy Ridge LLC or their respective licensors and may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Links or integrations involving third-party services are governed by those providers' own terms and policies.
Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Privacy Ridge LLC disclaims implied warranties concerning the website and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from website use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Liability for event services is governed by the signed service agreement and applicable law.
Privacy, governing law, and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how inquiry information is handled. Texas law governs these Terms, without overriding any rights that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive. We may update these Terms by posting a revised effective date. Material event-service changes will be handled through the applicable proposal or agreement.
