Information we collect

When you contact us or submit an inquiry, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, and optional telephone number.
• Event date, type, location, guest count, budget range, and package interests.
• Requested add-ons, event preferences, and messages you choose to provide.
• Communications and operational notes related to your inquiry or booking.

Our website and hosting providers may also process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and security or access logs.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Review availability and determine whether an event is a service fit.
• Respond to inquiries and prepare consultations, recommendations, and quotes.
• Coordinate agreements, payments, event planning, staffing, and service delivery.
• Maintain business records, prevent misuse, secure our services, and comply with law.

How information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the business, including website hosting, customer-relationship management, email, telephone, contracting, invoicing, payment, and professional-services providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

Payments and messaging

We do not collect payment-card information through the website inquiry form, Airtable, email, text messages, or telephone notes. Payments are processed by Stripe using a Stripe-hosted invoice page. Card numbers and card security codes are submitted directly to Stripe and are not received or stored by The Goof Bar or Privacy Ridge LLC. Stripe may provide us with limited transaction information, such as payment status, amount, card brand, and the last four digits, for booking, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-handling purposes. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy and security terms.

Please do not send card numbers, security codes, PINs, or banking credentials in the inquiry form, by email, text message, or telephone. Use only the secure Stripe-hosted payment page supplied with your invoice.

We may send an automated email acknowledging receipt of a website inquiry and operational emails related to an inquiry or booking. Submitting the inquiry form does not enroll you in automated marketing or SMS messages. SMS messaging is not currently enabled.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry, booking, and event records for as long as reasonably necessary for operations, legal and accounting obligations, dispute handling, security, and legitimate business reporting. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with you, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
